Another double number line practice math sample

Today for maths I did more on double number lines so I've learnt a little bit more about them

So what? I've learnt that a double number line is useful for comparing ratios

Now what? I'm going to start doing harder questions with it

Cross country (again)

Only one or two weeks till cross country (should i be happy or sad? Because running is quite tiring for me) anyway I've been training for the last few weeks so hopefully I get a good position (last year I came 8th) I'm going to keep training anyway because it is getting quite close

So what ? I've been training

Now what? I'm going to try to get a faster run next practice then eventually get faster and faster

Speech taster

This is PART of my speech my real speech goes from 20 down to 0 but you can have a little read of the middle ( the start and end are funny but not the middle thats why i chose the middle).   ;)

Nope actually Karl Benz invented the car but just before Henry stole his idea remade it and sold it before Karl started building so that's why there are cars called the Ford Mustang and the Mercedes Benz number 7 Thomas Edison invented the lightbulb wrong again someone called Joseph swan did but Thomas stole the plan and made it before Joseph finished poor Joseph and Karl

Cross country

For cross country training my class has to run around a rugby field twice (the field isn't as big as a regular rugby field just a tiny bit smaller) and for the real cross country (depending on age group I'm year 6) i have to run 3 or 4 laps

so what: I'm probably running at the same time your reading this

now what: I'm going to carry on training for at least four weeks starting from....................NOW

The murderer

Hey look a note! Said josh in an excited voice he picked it up his friend Sam came and grabbed the note out of his hands Sam opened the note and started to read it.



Ye who reads this note will die of poison in 3 weeks so do what you have ever felt like doing for that time you can use my million dollars to do so good day.......... JOSH

How does he know my name? Josh was confused I'm going to bed said josh in a confused voice he fell onto his bed with disbelief. good night.....JOSH The next morning josh woke up he was surrounded in hundred dollar bills! the note was real! He grabbed as much money as he could and stuffed the money into bags and went to his parents he said a high rollers stopped by the house in a limo and gave him a million dollars! First thing his family did was buy a huge mansion with pool two stories two garages and a Lamborghini then they bought a Porsche and Ferrari and Mercedes Benz they even bought some for there cousins uncles and aunties but another note appeared that read..... Josh you must come to the Cemetery at 5 pm to meet your fate if you do not come I will send kidnappers to come and kidnap you bring you to me and I will  MURDER you so remember 5 pm at the cemetery sicerely
GRANDAD

 Josh started freaking out his grandad is a murderer! Josh went to the downstairs phone to call the police but the phone cord was cut! He went upstairs but that cord was cut too! His parents were on holiday in Hawaii so he couldn't use their mobile phones either! But he had a big idea Josh ran to the kitchen grabbed the Ferraris keys and ran he jumped out the window because the door was locked he jumped in the Ferrari and stuck the keys into the ignition he hopped in but he couldn't reach the pedals so he quickly grabbed his mothers dictionary out of the boot she keeps it just in car
For her blog she started as she doesn't want any spelling problems josh tied the dictionary to his shoe with his laces he put his foot on the gas but didn't move? He forgot to put the car out of park
He grabs the shifter and puts into drive but hits the wall behind him turns out he put it in reverse he finally puts it in drive he put the pedal to the metal but when he gets to the bottom of the drive the gates closed he Rams it down turns left and has a quick look back to find there are two land rovers chasing him he does a quick left turn in hope of losing them but there still hot on his tail he Rams through the gate to a construction site with loads of cranes and workers the cranes are lifting huge cement pipes while the workers are digging a huge hole for the Carpark of the new building there building the sky tower hopefully some day it's gonna be the most famous building in the world but anyway back to the story the workers are diving out the way of the cars the pipes lined up into a staircase shape going around in a circle all the way to the top of the building josh drove into one of the pipes one of the land rovers crashed but there was an Ashton Martin chasing josh as well they raced all the way to the top of the tower until it was a dead end they were at the top of the building with a 300 metre drop in front of him josh pulled the hand brake as hard as he could but he pulled it so hard the handbrake broke josh said that's probably why they call it a hand brake said josh in attempt to cheer himself up the Ferrari fell of the edge of the building josh only had one option the big red button that read "DO NOT PUSH" but it was his only hope he smashed the safety glass and hit the button with all his might the seat shot up out of the car a parachute opened josh was saved........well for now at least josh slowly fell to the ground he undid the belt grabbed a nearby phone and dialled 911 state your business said a man in a boring voice Josh explained everything the man said (still in a boring voice) I will send a swat team down immediately instantly the swat team turned around the corner as if they were waiting there they weren't any better at driving than the villain they almost ran over like five people thought Josh they skidded to a halt right in front of Josh they jumped out the back saying hut over and over again until the Ferrari well what's left of it landed on them crushing all only there commander wasn't squashed he called for backup another swat van came around the corner (still driving really badly) until the villains Ashton Martin fell off the tower and crushed the swat van luckily this time the swat team jumped out of van just in time but stupidly they forgot that the van was stronger than three shipping containers put together so the van just kept driving and wouldn't stop the so they had to put the villain (aka grandad) in the first swat van that wasn't driving around like crazy the swat team commander said they were going to bring him to the ADMAX which is the highest security prison in the world and they called his parents which came all the way from Hawaii but they came instantly..... why ? Josh forgot that they owned the worlds only teleportation device  they ran up and gave Josh a big hug they drove home and lived happily ever after the end great story ten out of ten

Healthy foods

Today we got tought what foods are good and which ones aren't the good there are five food groups such as breads and cereals, meats,milk or milk alternatives, fruit and vegetables these have all the healthy stuff these groups include stuff like eggs,bread,wheat bix,porridge,pork chops,steak,lamb chops,ect but then there is unhealthy ones like powerade,coke,ect because they have up to 11 teaspoons of sugar in them I even have proof buy a can of regular coke and pour it into a frying pan let the water in it evaporate you see all of that gooey stuff? That is the sugar,artificial flavours and cocoa so try avoid that stuff. Also before you stop reading me try these challenges 1 breakfast every morning (unless you ate it all yesterday) sleep (that means when you wake lazy people up they must be quite strong) and last of all drink water BEFORE you play soccer or rugby (whatever sport you play) I've started doing these challenges (because why not?) and any way you can go ahead and stop reading me now.
